Poetry Moved

1 min read
I decided to move my poetry section off the site. Just a feeling of slight anxiety. Thanks to those who commented on them.

So, I survived winter. Barely. I'll be slowly warming-up and posting some new photos.

That is all.

I've posted all my June photos so far. I'll start processing my various July shots soon. There are not that many of them because winter here brings a deep, cold shadow from the mountain behind us and I can't even move my fingers for the cold. The wind howls as cold-fronts sweep past, so nothing stands still for long enough to take macros shots.

Ah well. I hope to get a visit to the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens in Cape Town soon, and those photos should be fun.

I am busy sorting through the photos I have taken during June 2014. There are many, and I must find the best of them and then fix their rotations and such. Watch this space.

I'm lucky to live in the fynbos of South Africa, on the slopes of the Kogelberg biosphere. I'm taking artistic shots of the amazing plants and life around me with my old Olympus camera.

I'm not a botanist, or any kind of ist; the names I've given the various plants are the best-guess after much googling; expect mistakes!

(I'd love to get a new camera, so please buy some of my prints.)

I hope you enjoy,
Donn.
